Recert Complete

After a long absence, last flight 2006, I was able to renew my Tripoli membership, get my original number, and recertify back to level 2. Level 1 was accomplished in Nov with my scratch built Pershing 1A with 3d printed fins and nosecone on an Aerotech I218R. Level 2 was done Dec 3 with my original L2 rocket, an old Vaughn Brothers Javelin 4.0 that miraculously only needed some small repairs to be airworthy again. Not too bad for sitting around for 16 years in the garage. I updated the altimeter with an Eggtimer Quantum, rocketman parachutes, and it landed with no damage ready to fly again. Perhaps one of the better highlights is that my son Trevor also got his Lvl 1 in November the same day I got mine. Many thanks to the great people form the Austin Area Rocketry Group for holding the launches in Nov and Dec. Once I have my Lvl 2 card I can forward that to RCS so I can order supplies and get back to development of the hybrid motor project. Pics are below.
